The Gloss Menagerie was born on March 8, 2008. Since the blog began, Alyson has been able to turn her passion into her career, writing for publications such as TheFind, Beauty Debutante, Ebates, and iEnhance.com. Starting in fall of 2011, Alyson signed on as the social media associate for foremost hair authority Stylebell LLC, where she writes the MyStyleBell blog.
Alyson launched OC Beauty, a locals only beauty blog for Orange County, in 2011 to unite the beauty community in the area. That project is still in the early stages of development.
Alyson Ben-Yehuda is a So-Cal native. She discovered her passion for beauty products for the first time in high school when shopping for prom makeup. Alyson has several years of experience working in areas of the internet marketing and public relations field including Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, and Social Media. She has offered guidance and professional advice to many of the most popular beauty bloggers as well as top industry brands.
